Chief Executive Officer
Mr. Avitov became Angioslide CEO in May 2011, following 4 years as the company's chairman. He most recently served as an EVP at Ofer Hi-Tech, one of Israel’s leading private equity firms, heading the healthcare team. Prior to that, he served as CEO of Naiot Venture Accelerator, and as General Manager of Rimlon, a medical device company in the orthopedics field. At Ofer Hi-Tech and Naiot Venture Accelerator, he led various investments in innovative healthcare technologies and played an active role in their day-to-day management. In 2007 Mr. Avitov co-founded PainReform, a startup dedicated to developing drug reformulations in the field of pain management. Mr. Avitov holds a bachelor's degree in Economics and Management, and a master's degree from the Department of Industrial Engineering and Management at the Technion – Israel Institute of Technology in Haifa, Israel.
Chief Technology Officer
Mr. Harari has been with the company since August 2006, and has led the technology development platform from its early days. Mr. Harari brings to Angioslide extensive experience in the development of invasive cardiovascular delivery systems and catheters. He is also responsible for the Intellectual Property portfolio at Angioslide. Prior to joining Angioslide, Mr. Harari was a Senior R&D engineer at Edwards Lifesciences Israel and Mindguard Ltd. Mr. Harari holds a bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering from the Technion – Israel Institute of Technology in Haifa.
Timothy M. Repole
VP Sales US
Mr. Repole joined Angioslide in May 2010. He brings over 25 years of experience in the medical device field, with specific experience in peripheral and coronary minimally invasive solutions. Prior to joining Angioslide, Mr. Repole served as District Sales Manager for Edwards Lifesciences. He previously held managerial positions with various medical companies such as Pfizer Hospital Group (Shiley and Biomedical Sensors), Avinger and Cardiva Medical. Mr. Repole holds a BA in Business from West Liberty State College in West Virginia, USA.
Mr. Meister joined Angioslide in November 2008, bringing with him more than 10 years of experience in the medical device industry. Prior to joining Angioslide, Mr. Meister served as Head of R&D and Project Manager for Initia Medical Technology Ltd., specializing in mechanical, electronic, and real-time software systems. He has extensive experience in the development of multi-disciplinary systems, as well as the management of various military projects. Mr. Meister holds an MSc (summa cum laude) in Electrical Engineering, as well as BSc degrees in Mechanical Engineering & Electrical Engineering from Tel Aviv University in Israel.
Chief Financial Officer
Mr. Mor joined Angioslide in March 2010. Prior to joining Angioslide, Mr. Mor served as CFO at Siemens PLM SW (IL) Ltd., a leading global provider of Product Lifecycle Management (PLM) software, and as a Director of Finance at superDimension, an Israeli hi-tech company in the medical device arena that became a world-leader in the diagnosis and treatment of lung cancer. Mr. Mor brings extensive experience to Angioslide in the financial aspects of corporate financial activities for both small and large companies. Mr. Mor is a CPA and holds a BA in Accounting and Economics from the Hebrew University of Jerusalem, Israel.
VP Quality Assurance and Regulatory Affairs
Mr. Anselmo joined Angioslide in August 2007, and also serves as the President and CEO of Reglera LLC, a leading provider of Quality and Regulatory Consulting and Outsourcing services to the Medical Device and Human Tissue Products Industries. Mr. Anselmo joined Enscicon Corporation in 1999, where he founded a new division of the company focused on healthcare-related industries. When this division exceeded $3 million in annual revenues, it was spun-off as a new entity called Reglera. Before joining Enscicon / Reglera, Mr. Anselmo worked for COBE Laboratories / GAMBRO Healthcare. As a part of their US Corporate Management Team, he supported GAMBRO Healthcare’s rapid growth into the leading dialysis company in the U.S., manufacturing medical devices and providing dialysis clinical services nationwide. Prior to joining GAMBRO, he worked with Alcon Laboratories (1990 to 1994), one of the largest ophthalmic device / pharmaceutical manufacturing companies in the world. Mr. Anselmo holds a Mechanical Engineering degree from the University of Washington in Seattle, WA.
