Mr.Berman is a co-founder of Aetherworks, Apnex, BeneChill, and BridgePoint Medical. In addition he is an investor and board member of Data Sciences Int’l, Lutonix, PharmaCentra and UltraShape. In 2001 he co-founded Velocimed which was sold to St. Jude Medical in 2005. From 1995-2000 Mr. Berman was the President of the Cardiology business of Boston Scientific. Mr. Berman received his BS and MBA degrees from Cornell University in 1979 and 1986,respectively.
Yoav Doppelt joined Ofer Group in 1996 and is responsible for defining the vision and operational methodology of the ompany’s private equity and hi-tech investments.Today, Yoav serves as an active board member of The Israel corp. ,Lumenis, Enzymotec, MGVS,Rayv and Yozma Venture Capital ($170M under management), and is driving a range of investments within the private equity and hi-tech arena. In addition, Yoav has successfully led several exit deals
and has extensive experience in exit management. Yoav has well-seasoned, hands-on experience advising portfolio companies including MGVS (cell therapy), Naopass (Medical devices) and Coreflow (Capital Equipment) and has served as an active chairman for Enzymotec, health food ingredients. Previously, Yoav held finance and managerial positions within Ofer Group, including director in Tower Semiconductors (Nasdaq: TSEM) and IMI – Israel Chemical's R&D Institution.
Yoav holds a BSc from the faculty of Industrial Management at the Technion –Israel Institute of Technology, as well as an MBA from Haifa University, Israel.
Mr. Nahir gained his professional expertise in several top management positions, including CEO of
Chromogan, Tali Ltd. London, and his current position as Managing Director of the 260-employee company Degania Silicone. Internationally marketed and distributed, Degania Silicone is one of the three leading international manufacturers of silicone catheters. Mr. Nahir serves as the Chairman of the Board for several Degania Silicone subsidiaries in the USA and Germany. He holds a BA in Economics and Business from the University of Haifa, Israel.
Mr. Neugarten joined the Viola Partners Group in 2000 as a partner of DOR Ventures, a VC fund focusing on imaging technologies. During his period at DOR Ventures he led various investments including medical imaging ventures. Since 2006, he has led the healthcare investments of VPartners, and currently serves on the boards of Angioslide, Neurosonix, and PainReform. Prior to joining the Viola Partners Group, he worked for Scitex (NASDAQ:SCIX) in various management positions in Europe, Japan, and Israel. He received his BSc in Electronics from the Technion and an MBA from Boston University, USA.
Mr.Stoffman joined the Ofer Hi-Tech team in 2001, serving seven years at Naiot (the Ofer Hi-Tech
incubator). During his period at Naiot he served as an investment manager for three years and as its CEO for four years.
As CEO of Naiot, Mr. Stoffman led various investments in innovative start-up companies operating in the fields of healthcare, software, and the internet and played an active role in refining their strategies and supporting their
management teams. In 2006, he co-founded Vestopia, a financial services company. Mr. Stoffman currently serves on the boards of MentorWave and Naiot,and as active chairman for EndoCross, EZSurgical, Intratech and Checkmarx.
Prior to joining Naiot, Mr. Stoffman was instrumental in founding and leading two start-up companies from 1998-2001.
Mr. Stoffman holds a bachelor's degree in Business Administration and a law degree from the Interdisciplinary Center in Herzliya, and an LLM (negotiation and dispute resolutions program) from Bar Ilan University in Ramat Gan, Israel.
Former CEO of Beta-O2 Technologies, a bio-device company founded by Yossi Gross, Mr. Schneider led the company from its inception to the successful pre-clinical phase, and raised $12M from Vitalife, Boston Scientific, Pitango, and others. Previously, he was Managing Director, Private Equity, at Discount Capital Markets (DCM), where he led Medtech and other high tech investments.
At DCM, Mr. Schneider established Vitalife VC fund and raised capital for other funds that amounted to more than $250M in total. Prior to DCM, he was part of the management team of Horizon Fund, a $30M diversified private equity fund.
Chief Executive Officer
Mr. Avitov became Angioslide CEO in May 2011, following 4 years as the company's chairman. He most recently served as an EVP at Ofer Hi-Tech, one of Israel’s leading private equity firms, heading the healthcare team. Prior to that, he served as CEO of Naiot Venture Accelerator, and as General Manager of Rimlon, a medical device company in the orthopedics field.
At Ofer Hi-Tech and Naiot Venture Accelerator, he led various investments in innovative healthcare technologies and played an active role in their day-to-day management. In 2007 Mr. Avitov co-founded PainReform, a startup dedicated to developing drug reformulations in the field of pain management.
Mr. Avitov holds a bachelor's degree in Economics and Management, and a master's degree from the Department of Industrial Engineering and Management at the Technion – Israel Institute of Technology in Haifa, Israel.
