A proven Executive President & CEO with over 22 years of experience in a broad range of executive positions with increasing responsibility. Kurt has led as President and Chief Executive Officer, three companies of varying sizes. Mr. Vedder spent well over 12 years in large capitalization companies such as Guidant Corporation and Medtronic. With three Master’s graduate degrees, he has held positions in Sales, Marketing, Corporate Finance, and Business Development. As well, Mr. Vedder spent over three years in Venture Capital, at De Novo Ventures in Menlo Park and Palo Alto, CA.
Through the years, Mr. Vedder has established an outstanding record of verifiable success operating, commercializing, managing, and financing companies. Proven leader with driving new product commercial growth and market expansion. He has expertise with establishing key strategic partnerships and business development deal making. Mr. Vedder has demonstrable success in employee hiring and retention, and developing organizational objectives with policy formation.
Mr. Vickus has been with the company since 2010 with progressively broader responsibilities. He brings 9 years of hands-on experience in development, management and commercialization of medical devices. Prior to joining Angioslide, Mr. Vickus served in leadership sales and clinical marketing positions for UltraShape Ltd. (acquired by Syneron) an image guided, non-invasive, focus ultrasound medical system. Earlier, Mr. Vickus worked for KST Dynamics and Andante Medical Inc. as R&D project leader and in various QA positions. Eran has significant experience in the commercialization of multi-disciplinary medical systems, and presently focused on all commercial and clinical aspects of the company’s product lines across all geographies. Mr. Vickus holds an EMBA from Tel Aviv University (expected July 2015) and a BSc degree in Biomedical Engineering from Ben-Gurion University in Israel.
Mr. Avitov is a consultant to Angioslide management team, after serving 3.5 years as Angioslide CEO between 2011-2015. Prior to Angioslide he served as an EVP at XT Investments ech, one of Israel’s leading private equity firms, heading the healthcare team. Prior to that, he served as CEO of Naiot Venture Accelerator, and as General Manager of Rimlon, a medical device company in the orthopedics field. At XT and Naiot he led various investments in innovative healthcare technologies and played an active role in their day-to-day management. In 2007 Mr. Avitov co-founded PainReform, a startup dedicated to developing drug reformulations in the field of pain management, currently in phase II. Mr. Avitov holds a bachelor's degree in Economics and Management, and a master's degree from the Department of Industrial Engineering and Management at the Technion – Israel Institute of Technology in Haifa, Israel.
